Delete account & data
Request permanent deletion of your HeyBiom! account and associated cloud data here, even if the app is no longer installed.
1. Delete directly in the app
- Open Options in HeyBiom!.
- Select “Permanently delete account”.
- Read the notice and confirm irreversible deletion.
- If requested, confirm the connected Google account. The server-side deletion service then removes account and cloud data, followed by local app data.
2. Request deletion without the installed app
Send the request from the email address connected to your HeyBiom! Google account whenever possible. Mention “HeyBiom!” and the account email to be deleted. Never send your Google password or access codes.
We verify identity and confirm the processing status. Valid requests are completed without unreasonable delay, normally within seven calendar days after successful verification and no later than applicable statutory time limits.
3. What is deleted?
- the Firebase Authentication account and HeyBiom! UID;
- account-bound Firestore data, including profile, goals, diary, weight history, personal products, recipes and vital data;
- HeyBiom! files in assigned Firebase Storage paths;
- for in-app deletion, local HeyBiom! data on that device.
Deleting HeyBiom! does not delete your entire Google account. Source records in Health Connect or a watch provider app are not part of the HeyBiom! account and must be managed there separately. Copies or synchronised values stored by HeyBiom! are deleted as described above.
4. What is retained temporarily?
A private technical deletion receipt containing UID, hashed email, status and timestamps is kept for no more than 30 days to securely complete and verify the repeatable process. It is not used for advertising or profiling and is then deleted automatically.
Records that must be retained by law may remain only to the required extent. HeyBiom! currently has no subscriptions or in-app purchases that must be cancelled separately before deletion.
5. Identity and abuse protection
To prevent deletion of another person’s account, in-app deletion requires confirmation by the connected Google account. For email requests, we use the associated account email and may ask a further secure verification question. We never ask for your password.
